Dear Little Sis,

I suppose you reckon its about time I wrote and are mightily indignant at my silence, but don't be over-hard on me. I am sometimes busy and always lazy and besides I know Clytie gives you all the news or at least all that would interest you. So forgive me this time and I'll promise to write you a real letter some time if the Huns and other things don't interrupt. Goodnight and don't pinch.

Dear Jean,

How are you keeping and all the Fellowship and Tennis people. Presume you still indulge in those reckless afternoons & evenings. What about Dances? Have they had any and what sort of success were they? Drop me a line occasionally to keep me in touch with the doings of my old cronies etc
Best wishes & love for yourself

Dear Sis,

Another month commenced and the end not yet in sight, although certainly closer. Hope you are still going strong and also ___ (you know). Don't forget that I'm most selfish as regards mail and nothing in that line comes amiss to me. Roy, Bert, Percy and myself are OK. Haven't heard of Vern and am just a triffle anxious. Have written him to stir himself up. Goodnight with love Viv
