My Dear Sister Clytie,
Thanks for you card of Nov 11th, and your kind wishes contained where in.

I met your gallant husband recently just after he had been decorated by the king with the M.C. and bar. I guess you are very proud of him. Poor old Viv, he has had a long run in France, but perhaps her may soon be sent to England for a spell.

Have just had a very happy four days leave at Andover, and am now looking forwarded to our final leave in May.
